Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing The Talent Development Group. We value the trust you place in us and aim to deliver consulting services with clarity, integrity, and professionalism. Because our work is customized and service-based, this Refund Policy outlines how payments, cancellations, and refunds are handled.

1. Service-Based Work

Most of our services — including HR consulting, fractional leadership, workshops, assessments, and project-based engagements — are tailored specifically to each client. As a result:

All payments for consulting services are non-refundable once work has begun.

This includes time spent in discovery, strategy, planning, research, document creation, or meetings.

2. Prepaid Project Fees & Deposits

To reserve time on our calendar or begin project work, clients may be required to pay an upfront deposit or retainer.

  • Deposits/retainers are non-refundable.

  • If a project is canceled by the client before work begins, deposits may be applied to future services at our discretion.

3. Workshops, Trainings & Events

For scheduled workshops, leadership trainings, or facilitated sessions:

  • Cancellations made more than 14 days before the scheduled session may be rescheduled at no additional charge.

  • Cancellations made within 14 days are non-refundable due to time reserved, preparation already performed, and materials developed.

  • If The Talent Development Group must cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, clients may choose a new date or receive a full refund.

4. Digital Products, Templates, or Downloads (if applicable)

Any digital products, toolkits, templates, or downloadable materials purchased from our website are non-refundable once delivered.

5. Hourly Consulting & Retainer Packages

For ongoing or monthly HR support:

  • Unused hours within a billing cycle do not roll over unless otherwise specified in your agreement.

  • Refunds are not available for unused support time once the monthly cycle has begun.

6. Dissatisfaction With Services

We strive for excellence and partnership in every engagement. If you are unhappy with any part of the service provided, please contact us promptly at ellen@thetalentdevelopmentgroup.com so we can address concerns and work toward a solution.

Please note that dissatisfaction alone does not qualify for a refund, as consulting services involve time, expertise, and intellectual work that cannot be returned.

7. Errors, Billing Issues, or Duplicate Payments

If you believe you were billed in error or a duplicate payment was made, please contact us within 7 days of the transaction. Verified billing errors will be corrected or refunded promptly.
